Free, no commitment. Just what your team does by hand.
The honest picture
Most charities already use AI, in bits. Someone has a ChatGPT tab open, someone found a clever prompt that helps with appeal letters.
What almost nobody has is the part that runs on its own, every week, without anyone remembering to do it. The Monday report that writes itself. The lapsed-donor email that goes out because the data says so.
That is the bit I build. Not new tools for your team to learn: the systems you already have, wired together so the routine work happens without anyone touching it.
Running at Imagine This today
Imagine This is a UK children's charity funding creative wellbeing projects in hospitals and hospices. I have worked inside it for two years. This is what runs there now.
The Monday digest
Running since May 2026Every Monday at 8am one email lands with the team. Who gave last week and through what: the website, fundraising pages, standing orders. Regular givers against one-off gifts. New regular givers, and the ones who look like they are about to lapse. Whose giving anniversary is coming up. How many people joined the newsletter.
Nobody writes it.
Lapsed-donor and anniversary emails
Sent when the data says they should be, not when someone remembers.
A copywriting assistant in the charity's own voice
A newsletter or an appeal takes ten minutes instead of an afternoon, and still sounds like them. The team uses it every day.
Gift Aid compiled for HMRC
The claim spreadsheet builds itself.
A monthly marketing dashboard
Every channel's numbers in one place.
Partnership outreach
First-touch corporate outreach drafted from a brief.
Grant application first drafts
Written from the charity's own case for support.
What that is worth
- A fundraiser day a week is £5,000 to £6,000 a year of salary.
- One regular giver kept is £120 a year.
- Gift Aid is 25p on every £1, and most charities under-claim it.
How it works
- 1
A conversation
A free 20-minute call about what your team does by hand every week.
- 2
An automation audit
A short look inside your CRM, email and reporting. The audit is the build plan. Introductory rate for the first five charities while I build case studies.
- 3
A fixed-price build
You know the number before we start.
- 4
Optional monthly care
Monitoring, tweaks, one new automation a month, and training for the team. Only if you want it.
This is built for charities of £100k to £10m income with a fundraising team of one to five and no systems person. Any cause, no venue needed.
Questions people ask
- We already use ChatGPT. What is different?
- Nothing about the tools. The difference is that this runs without anyone opening a tab. The digest arrives whether or not anyone thought about it that week.
- We are on Donorfy, Beacon, or a spreadsheet. Does that matter?
- No. It starts from whatever you have. Imagine This runs on Donorfy, Stripe and Funraisin, and the digest reads all three.
- Where does our donor data go?
- It stays in your systems. The automations read from them and write summaries to your inbox. Nothing is trained on your data.
- What does it cost?
- The audit is at an introductory rate. The build is fixed-price and quoted after the audit. Nothing is ongoing unless you want it to be.
If the problem is bigger than admin
Sometimes the weekly admin is a symptom
If the website, online donations, donor records and hall bookings are the bigger problem, that is a different job, and it is the one Charity OS does: one system built for UK charities. Have a look at Charity OS.
